Assisted Living Regulations Open for Amendments
To comply with legislative mandates from the recently-ended 2013 legislative session, ALTSA has begun rulemaking to accommodate WAC 388-78A changes in the following areas: gender neutral terminology; caregiver training and certification deadlines and RN/LPN exemption from certain continuing education requirements; and the definition of 'neglect'.
