To implement 2012 legislation, the Washington State Department of Health recently issued its final rules regarding the allowance of the use of nurse delegation to certified home care aides in certain settings, including assisted living.
The term 'boarding home' has also been replaced by the term 'assisted living' throughout nurse delegation WAC.
