Learning Collaborative Focuses on Support for Low-Income Elderly

Enterprise, LeadingAge and SAHF are piloting a new platform for innovation to test models that improve service delivery to low-income seniors in affordable housing, which will:

• Improve seniors’ health and service outcomes
• Generate cost savings for the health care system

Twelve teams from across the country convened in Washington, D.C. from January 23-34, 2013 to develop the structures, partnerships and processes for advancing their “housing plus services” models that will allow low-income older adults to age in-place with appropriate support services.  Read more.
