According to a Feb. 21
decision by the U.S. Supreme Court, pre-dispute arbitration clauses in nursing
home contracts are not barred by the Federal Arbitration Act and may be
enforced in cases involving claims of personal injury and wrongful death.

court's decision leaves arbitration agreements open to challenge based on
