DSHS Files Rules to Eliminate Adult Day Health Program

DSHS, under budget cutting measures, has initiated rulemaking which will de-fund in its entirety the Medicaid Adult Day Health program in the state of Washington.

Of important note, however, is that the program elimination is based upon Governor Gregoire's proposed 2012 Supplemental Operating Budget.  Further legislative action can, and may, amend part or all of the decision making and planning to date.
