Video demonstrates person-centered care in Adult Day Health programs

The Adult Day Health Care Council of New York produced an award-winning nine minute DVD on adult day health care (ADHC) program services in New York State. This amazing video demonstrates the person-centered care for individuals served by ADHC programs. Most of these individuals in the video would be in nursing homes, if it wasn’t for Adult Day Health Care. The 160 + ADHC programs in NY provide all the services that are available in a nursing home setting. The difference is that the person can return home at the end of the day.
