Credit enhancements and energy efficiency finance programs

The Wa. State Housing Finance Commission has applied for money for credit enhancements to assist with a recent legislative mandate to create a new energy efficiency finance program.  Aging Services supported their grant proposal.  The Commission would partner with an energy services company to allow for the financing of energy efficient retrofits and new construction projects with energy saving elements in multifamily housing, including senior housing.
