50th Anniversary of HUD 202 program celebrated

On Sept. 16, AAHSA housing staff attended a celebration to mark the 50th anniversary of the Department of Housing and Urban Development’s Section 202 program. The celebration was broadcast to HUD field offices nationwide and featured film that highlighted AAHSA member Eliza Bryant Village among others and gave special recognition to current and past HUD staff involved with the program. HUD will release an extended version of the video and a range of materials to help others plan celebrations of the program and highlight the importance of the section 202 program in their communities
