Qualified Health Home Designees Announced

The Washington State Health Care Authority has announced the companies that have been selected as the apparently successful applicants for the designation as Qualified Health Homes in coverage areas 4, 5 and 7. The Health Care Authority anticipates health home services to begin in these coverage areas on or about July 1, 2013.

For Coverage Area 4 (Pierce County) the successful Qualified Health Home designees are: UnitedHealthcare of Washington, Inc.; Community Health Plan of Washington and United Behavioral Health (Optum Pierce)

For Coverage Area 5 (Clark, Cowlitz, Klickitat, Skamania, and Wahkiakum Counties) the apparently successful Qualified Health Home designees are: UnitedHealthcare of Washington, Inc.; Community Health Plan of Washington; United Behavioral Health and Coordinated Care Corporation

For Coverage Area 7 (Asotin, Benton, Columbia, Franklin, Garfield, Kittitas, Walla Walla, and Yakima Counties) the apparently successful Qualified Health Home designees are: UnitedHealthcare of Washington, Inc.; Yakima County (SE Washington Aging & Long-Term Care); Community Health Plan of Washington; Coordinated Care Corporation and United Behavioral Health

The Health Care Authority will seek application for Qualified Health Home services in Coverage Area 1 (Clallam, Grays Harbor, Jefferson, Kitsap, Lewis, Mason, Pacific, and Thurston Counties), Coverage Area 2 (Island, San Juan, Skagit, and Whatcom Counties), and Coverage Area 6 (Adams, Chelan, Douglas, Ferry, Grant, Lincoln, Okanogan, Pend Oreille, Spokane, Stevens and Whitman Counties).  The applications for serving as a health home in these coverage areas is due in to the state agency by July 12, 2013. The apparently successful applicants for designation as Qualified Health Homes in coverage areas 1, 2, and 6, should be announced by August 9, 2013, with health home services to begin on or about October 1, 2013.
