ALTSA Agrees to Open WAC to Address CE Issue

At a meeting last week, LeadingAge Washington requested that the department open regulations for rulemaking to address a troubling new requirement that prohibits Assisted Living Continuing Education credits from being repeated in subsequent years.  We believe the current rule, 388-112-0200, is too limiting for providers to address the real-time needs of their caregivers, residents and communities.  ALTSA agreed to the request.
