The new Money Follows the Person Tribal Initiative (TI) offers
states and tribes resources to build sustainable community based long-term
services and supports (LTSS).
This initiative is specifically for Indian
country, and can be used to address disparities, improve access and advance
the development of the infrastructure required to implement Medicaid
community-based LTSS for American Indians and Alaska Natives. The new
program is a great opportunity to expand HCBS in tribal communities.
