Still Time to Respond to a Quick Survey

The National Center for Health Statistics has extended data collection for the 2012 National Study of Long-Term Care Providers (NSLTCP).There is still time for you to participate!  Of the 11,700 adult day providers and residential care communities invited to participate, 48% have responded.  Your participation is voluntary but is needed to make this study a success.

We would like to thank the many of you who have already participated.  The information you provided will be invaluable in planning for assisted living, other similar care communities and adult day services in the future.   For those of you who have received a FedEx packet of information and/or a phone call indicating that your community has been selected for the study, but have not responded, we urge you to please do so now.

You represent not just your own community or service provider, but also others like yours.  By law, all data collected and released will be kept in strict confidence and used only for statistical purposes and no individual provider, staff or resident can be identified.   If contacted, we strongly encourage your participation in this national study. Results from this study are expected to be released late 2013.  To learn more about NSLTCP, please visit:  http://www.cdc.gov/nchs/nsltcp.htm.
