Nominate a Nurse!

Home and community-based nurses now have a chance to compete for the National Nursing Excellence Awards.  Exciting times, and Aging Services urges you to consider nominating yourself or another 'excellent nurse' during the (western region) Nursing Excellence Awards nomination period, which closes May 1, 2012. Finalists in six categories, which are slightly changed this year, will be invited to attend the Nursing Excellence Awards Gala on August 10, 2012 at the Wild Horse Pass Resort and Casino in Chandler, Arizona. and then will submitted for contention in the National Nursing Excellence Awards.  Nomination materials can be found here; the six categories for 2012 are:

• Advancing and Leading the Profession
• Inpatient Clinical Care
• Home, Community and Ambulatory Care
• Patient and Staff Management
• Education and Mentorship
• Volunteerism and Service
