Free Webinar - Opportunities to Provide Services to Medicare Dual-Eligibles

Approximately 9 million low-income seniors and younger persons with disabilities are enrolled in both Medicare and Medicaid (often referred to as “duals”). Many states are pursuing efforts to better coordinate care and potentially lower cost for this population.  Aging Services is actively monitoring opportunities for members to assist this population, with particular emphasis on housers and service providers.
For more information, contact Julie Martin, Aging Services of Washington.

Mark Friday, Dec. 9 on your calendar.  See registration link below for more details.
Earlier this year, 15 states were awarded design contracts of up to $1 million each to develop service delivery and payment models that integrate care.

More broadly, 38 states and the District of Columbia have submitted letters of intent to pursue opportunities for integration announced by CMS in July. This webinar will provide a basic overview of the duals population, activity within states, opportunities and concerns, and stakeholder involvement.

Speakers:

Edo Banach (CMS Medicare-Medicaid Coordination Office)
Hilary Dalin (National Council on Aging)
Kevin Prindiville (National Senior Citizens Law Center)
Mary Lou Breslin (Disability Rights Education & Defense Fund)

Space is limited, so please register early and share lines when possible.  The webinar will also be recorded and made available for viewing following the event.  To register, please go to the following link:https://cc.readytalk.com/r/qy1iyjo5dtoz
