Aging Services of Washington invites you to complete a Call for Proposals regarding our 59th Annual Conference “Who Decides?” held June (14) 15-17, 2010 at Campbell’s Resort on Lake Chelan. Our state association represents not-for-profit and mission driven members' dedication to excellence by providing programs and services to assist members in meeting the needs of seniors by providing quality housing, health, community and related services to seniors in a variety of settings: Retirement Housing, Assisted Living, Nursing Homes and Home & Community Based Services. We demonstrate a caring commitment to the highest quality of life and greatest independence for each individual served.

Aging Services of Washington is hosting the 3rd annual Nursing Summit, created and designed for nursing staff and others who are directly involved with resident care.
Share information and strategies in many areas of clinical practice with your colleagues. Take the opportunity to reflect on resident care practices within and beyond your community.

New survey roll-out for NH
DSHS/ADSA has updated us with the schedule for roll-out of the new nursing home survey process:
Regions 1, 3 and 5 have trained their licensing staff and are using it;
In February, Yakima licensors will undergo training and roll out to survey will follow;
Then, a slight break in the licensor training to allow for computer software updates from CMS et al.;
Region 6 will likely begin training in late June & July, with Region 4 coming along Sept. through Nov. Sub-regions A & B will see different training schedules due to the volume of staff.
