New caregiver training requirements to be discussed on Sept. 21

We are pleased to inform you that the DOH and DSHS will co-present on the new caregiver training & certification requirements, effective January 1, 2011, to Aging Services members on Tuesday, Sept. 21. We will be conducting our presentation simultaneously via gotomeeting.com AND in person during our regularly scheduled Assisted Living Committee meeting, Tues. Sept. 21 from 1:30-3:30 pm.

Learn who is and who is not exempt from mandatory training and certification, details on content, training hours and continuing education, qualifications of trainers, curriculum and approval requirements, documentation, certification testing procedures, costs, etc.
