Creating ‘Extended Breakfast’ at Kline Galland Home

The presenters will highlight a specific “Extended Breakfast” program at Seattle’s Kline Galland Home as an example of the type of change that can happen with little to no financial investment. In addition to directly enhancing resident wellness, this program has increased flexibility in job duties, enhanced interdepartmental cooperation and encouraged staff to think “outside the box” of their job positions. The presentation will be followed by an open conversation about the challenges and opportunities of implementing person-centered care on a limited budget.

Thursday, April 29, 5:30—7 p.m.  Horizon House  900 University St.
