Technology is bringing together residents of Eskaton Village, an AAHSA Member and CAST Sponsor in Carmichael, Calif., with first graders at nearby Kohler Elementary School. The students made one trip to the retirement community in Dec. 2009 to meet their elderly “buddies.” Now the two groups communicate regularly through Skype, an Internet video calling service.
