Do you offer transportation for older adults? Apply for a grant!

The survey will include 10-20 demographic questions plus the three special topic questions below:
Topic #1 Transportation Services for People with Dementia
Topic #2 Transportation Services for Older Adults in Rural America
Topic #3 Management Principles to Enhance Transportation Services for Older Adults

To be eligible for a STAR Award, survey respondents must: (1) provide transportation to older adults; (2) offer transportation services for at least two years; and (3) submit a narrative to one of the three special topics (listed above) that does not exceed 500 words. Prospective applicants are urged to think about and prepare the narrative for the special topic they choose prior to responding to the survey. Guidelines for responding to each of the three topics are located on the websites of the Beverly Foundation www.beverlyfoundation.org.
The 2010 STAR Search survey is planned for February 8 through February 26. Like STAR Search 2009, the 2010 survey will be web-based and administered through the SurveyMonkey on-line survey tool. Starting February 8, look for links to the survey on the Beverly Foundation website www.beverlyfoundation.org
