Important vote this week on long-term care services

This week, we expect the U.S. House of Representatives to vote on the Affordable Health Care for America Act (H.R. 3962), which includes the Community Living Assistance Services and Supports (CLASS) plan for financing long-term services and supports. Very few amendments will be permitted, so we are confident that the CLASS provisions will remain in the measure through House passage. We now are working for a similar outcome in the Senate, where we also hope to improve other sections of the bill applicable to providers of long-term services and supports.
