Licensed Boarding Homes, Adult Family Homes, and Nursing Homes are, under adoption of emergency rule by the Dept. of Health, are required to IMMEDIATELY notify public health authorities of laboratory-confirmed hospitalized or fatal cases of influenza (ONLY) that occur in their facilities.
