NEW CMS Guidance - Nursing Home Infection Control

Infection Control Survey Guidelines:

CMS has recently issued revisions to interpretive guidance at F Tag 441 concerning infection control.

Highlights of this guidance:
There is no change to the regulatory language.
F Tags 442, 443, 444, 445 are deleted and the regulatory language and guidance have been moved to F Tag 441.
The effective date of the changes is September 30, 2009.
